A stainless steel Seiko Automatic model, with automatic movement. This very versatile and handsome watch combines a lot of classic watch DNA with a Seiko spin. Much like the "5" series was initially introduced in 1963, a mainstay in the Seiko line for well over fifty years, with a wide variety of different case and dial designs this example is a spin off from these models, but even more paired down and clean. The case design is very simple, clean but strong. It wears large on the wrist, thanks in part to the quite thick case and quite large diameter, given it was designed in the 1960's. The case also appears larger due to the dial design that incorporates an inner smooth bezel, which catches light beautifully. The dial is a clean and handsome silver colour with simple baton hour markers. There is a day and date window at the three o'clock position, which has a quick set function, thanks to the separate recessed crown located at the two thirty position on the edge of the case. Depressing this will skip the date wheel one position. The dial and lume filled baton hand set are all original and in perfect condition. The versatile design of this watch makes it just as comfortable on the wrist in a polo shirt and chinos or a shirt and tie. The watch is powered by the high quality Seiko 17 jewel 'diashock' movement.

The watch comes on its original beads of rice style bracelet. The watch and the bracelet are in almost “New old stock condition” with the case back sticker still present. A super looking watch that is as versatile as it is handsome.
