Not just a J. Press icon, our Shaggy Dog is the gold standard sweater amongst American menswear aficionados. As with most sartorial innovations, the look was born out of a necessity to distinguish the brand’s Shetland wool sweater from our competitors. And so, at the behest of former owner Irving Press, the pullovers were individually hand brushed, creating the Shaggy Dog look. Its classic fit and thick weave lets you layer it simply over a button-down.
