Piper-Heidsieck is an iconic Champagne house founded in 1785 by Florens-Louis Heidsieck in Reims, France. Heidsieck presented his Champagne to Queen Marie Antoinette, who instantly loved it and became the brand's first ambassador. Piper-Heidsieck was the first Champagne house to appear on film in the 1933 movie Sons of the Desert by Laurel and Hardy. Marilyn Monroe was so fond of the champagne, she kept a month's supply in her kitchen. Piper-Heidsieck has been the official supplier of the Canes Film Festival, the Oscars, the Australian Open, and Rolex Paris Masters. The brand has also made a splash in the fashion world, collaborating with designers Jean-Paul Gaultier, Christian Louboutin, and Viktor & Rolf.
