Vintage Yale University The University Shop Saks Fifth Avenue Ceramic Mug

Founded in 1701, Yale is the third oldest institution of higher education in the United States. Notable alumni include: Paul Newman, Meryl Streep, Claire Danes, Oliver Stone, and more. Yale University also is mentioned in F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel The Great Gatsby. 

During WWII, Saks Fifth Avenue opened Navy and Army shops in New Haven, Connecticut and Princeton, New Jersey. After the War, they were turned into University Shops catering to Ivy League communities.
