A stainless steel manual wind Tudor Oyster. An unusual and early Oyster cased Tudor wrist watch with applied gilt Arabic numerals, very fine stick hands and center sweep. The original dial has garnered a wonderful patina after nearly seventy years of exposure to light and the elements. The cases for Tudor watches are made by their parent company; Rolex. This is no different here. This is a classic Oyster case; screw down case back, and screw down crown. Therefore sealing the interior from potential damage. The case appears to be unpolished, there is of course wear to the case, but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance. Overall, the watch is presented in excellent and all original vintage condition. The original case serial number is present on the exterior of the case back. Although this is certainly not the largest watch, it does not wear too small due to the longer fine lugs.
