What is ShipInsure, and why should I add it to my order?

ShipInsure is a package protection service that gives you peace of mind when shopping with J. Press. By including ShipInsure at checkout, you're covered in case your order is lost, stolen, or damaged during delivery. If something goes wrong, simply file a claim with ShipInsure for a hassle-free resolution. 

Please note: If you suspect that an item you received is damaged or defective (but not due to shipping), ShipInsure protection is not required. You can simple proceed to our Return Portal for assistance with a potential refund, exchange, or store credit.

How do I file a claim?

Protect your packages with ShipInsure today and have confidence that your orders are safeguarded.

  1. If you added ShipInsure, you'll receive an email with instructions and your unique ShipInsure ID. 
  2. No email? Simple go to ShipInsure's File a Claim page, enter your order info, and provide claim details. 
  3. ShipInsure will respond with 24 hours. 

 

How does ShipInsure resolve a claim?

  • Refund: If approved, you'll receive a refund within 2 business days (processing time may vary by payment method). 
  • Reship: If you prefer a replacement, ShipInsure will reorder the item for you, and you'll get a confirmation email once it's processed. 
  • Timeframe for Claims: You have 14 days from your delivery date to file a claim. 

 

Important Reminder: If you don't add ShipInsure to your order, J. Press is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items once they're with the shipper. In this case please reach out directly to the shipping carrier to file a claim.

Can orders be shipped with a P.O Box address?

We do not deliver to Post Office boxes, forwarding addresses or courier collection points. We do deliver to all homes and office addresses.

 

Can I use an alternate shipping address?

For first time customers, your Billing information must match the credit card. You could also try a different credit card or payment methods, such as PayPal, or Amazon.

International orders will only be shipped to the billing address and billing person for security reasons. Please see Shipping for details.

 

How many days does it take to receive ground shipping?

We ask to please allow 1 business day for Express orders & 3 business days for Ground orders to process before shipping. Ground shipping is anywhere from 3-5 business days for delivery.

 

What does it mean when some items have shipped on the order, but others have not?

It could mean that they are being shipped separately or from different locations. If items are out of stock, you will be notified by email.

 

My order shipped, but I have not received it.

If you have not received your order within 7 days from the shipment date, please contact us right away. We will not be held responsible for claims made after 7 days from the shipment date.
