Stainless steel Omega Seamaster De Ville with date. This is a very handsome and classic Omega watch that comes on a period correct, unusual textured metal band that is akin to a belt. Unlike a lot of elasticated bracelets from the period, this one has a buckle and can be sized to fit the wrist, and not pinch hairs out like its elasticated cousin! This can also be removed, and a classic leather band can be fitted instead with little fuss. The watch has a beautiful, textured linen dial which matches the bracelet. The dial and hand set are non-luminous, which is more common and appropriate for a dress watch, such as this. The classic Seamaster stainless steel case is unpolished and in superb fully original condition, with the seahorse logo on the back. The watch is powered by the stalwart Omega automatic caliber 562 movement. Overall, a superb looking, easy to wear, easy to dress up and down vintage classic in superb condition, hard to believe it was made in 1963
